Chinese pastor, wife slain at church served by Lottie Moon
Pastor Qin Jia Ye, who led Penglai Christian Church back to vibrance in China, was slain Aug. 31. The church is where Lottie Moon, an icon of Southern Baptist mission work, served in the early 1900s.

Okla. Ten Commandments display could carve new church-state path
At a time when some courts are ordering Ten Commandments monuments to be taken down, Oklahoma plans on erecting a monument just like this one, which resides on the Texas capitol grounds. The Supreme Court upheld the Texas monument in 2005.
